In the history of every nation there are places of power, sorrow and memory. For Belarusians, the village of Khatyn has become one of such places.
A lot has been done in our country to preserve the memory of the Khatyn tragedy - it is in memorials, works of art, films.
Students of the branch of BNTU "Minsk College of Architecture and Civil Engineering" attended historical readings dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the tragedy in Khatyn. When the bells of Khatyn ring, they remind people that this should never happen again.
Remembering the tragic events of the past is very important, as it gives us the opportunity to avoid their repetition, secure our lives, and be proud of our ancestors who gave their lives for a peaceful future.
