Easter Egg |
|
The Easter egg has long been considered the main attribute of Easter, a symbol of the rebirth of nature, which brings joy and spring sunshine. Many customs are associated with the bright holiday of Easter: giving gifts to each other, decorating the table in a special way, preparing delicious treats, and, of course, dyeing eggs. A workshop was held in the college dormitory, where a teacher discussed the symbols of Orthodox Easter, traditions, and the decoupage technique, in which fragments of a design from a three-layer napkin are glued to a hard-boiled egg using egg whites as a safe glue. Each participant in the workshop took home a handmade Easter gift.
