Review of MGASC events from October 30 to November 05

October 31, 2023 at the Palace of Children and Youth

Minsk celebrated the 25th birthday of the children's magazine "SWING".
Activists of the volunteer club "KVOKA" of the BNTU MGASK branch tried themselves in important and hard work with life-size puppets, spent time with children and their parents, and gave warm rays of joy and fun!

In October, the charity event “Warm Paws - 2023” was launched in support of homeless animals together with the OOO “HappyPet”.
The branch of BNTU "Minsk State College of Architecture and Civil Engineering" organized a collection of necessary pet supplies and animal feed.
On October 31, 2023, activists of the branch’s volunteer club “KVOKA” donated the collected goods to the RCMI “Steps”.
Thank you all so much for your help and participation!

On November 1, 2023, the branch of BNTU "Minsk State College of Architecture and Civil Engineering" took part in the career guidance event "Festival of Professions" organized for students of grades VIII-IX of schools and gymnasiums of the Partizansky district on the basis of the State Educational Institution "Gymnasium No. 7 of Minsk".
Institutions of secondary specialized education in Minsk were invited to participate in the event.
Future applicants learned up-to-date information about admission to our college, academic and social life, and were also able to communicate with college students, asking questions that concern them. Thus, during the discussion, issues of organizing examination and test sessions, places of practice, and the order of distribution of graduates were touched upon.
The event turned out to be useful for applicants, expanding their understanding of the opportunities that our branch offers.

Every academic year, more and more active and talented students appear in the dormitory branch of the BNTU "Minsk College of Architecture and Civil Engineering". The guys bring unforgettable interests and hobbies into student life.
This academic year the chess club "Knight's Move" continues its work.
Life, like chess, is about solving non-standard problems. Both in chess and in life, non-trivial actions often lead to success. Chess helps develop analytical thinking, independence, stimulates all parts of the brain and lays the foundation for creativity.
After holding the “Donate a book to the hostel library” campaign, by combining our efforts, we replenished the library fund with good and necessary books for all of us. It’s too early to talk about the results, but books are already on the shelves of two shelves waiting for their readers.
Thanks to everyone who took part and did not remain indifferent!
