Scientists who glorified Belarus

On the eve of the Day of Belarusian Science, as well as in the framework of the informational and educational project School of Active Citizen, on January 23, 2020, a meeting of students with the deputy head of the military-technical faculty of the Belarusian National Technical University on ideological work was held at the branch of the Belarusian National Technical University “Minsk State College of Architecture and Civil Engineering” Lieutenant Colonel Makarevich Viktor Viktorovich on the topic: “Scientists who glorified Belarus”. Viktor Viktorovich, told the students about the history of the Belarusian National Technical University, also introduced students to the conditions for admission to the military-technical faculty and further training at the faculty.
Also, during the event, students got acquainted with the latest discoveries and achievements in the field of laser physics, optics, space, bio- and nanotechnology, pharmaceuticals, transplantation; learned about the work of scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus and the work of the Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus. The children were interested in receiving new facts about the biography and scientific discoveries of Ignat Domeiko, Sofia Kovalevskaya, Lev Vygotsky, Pavel Sukhoi, Zhores Alferov, and appreciate the interest in preserving and developing their intellectual and scientific potential in our country.
