For three days, from 22 to 24 December, on the basis of the leading agricultural university of the country Educational Institution "Belarusian State Orders of the October Revolution and the Red Banner of Labor Agricultural Academy", a republican competition of professional skills "AkademStroy-2021" in the specialty "Industrial and civil construction" was held among students of institutions of secondary specialized education, which was attended by teams of students from 14 state colleges from all regions of the Republic of Belarus and the city of Minsk. The competition was held in the town of Gorki, Mogilev region under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus. The branch of BNTU "Minsk State Architectural and Construction College" was represented by the team: team leader - OV Piteryakova, deputy director for industrial training; trainer-expert in theoretical and practical training - Eliseenkova T.V., teacher of special disciplines; participants of the competition - 3rd year students of the specialty "Industrial and Civil Engineering", team captain Nikolai Denisovich Turov, Pavel Sergeevich Dzhezhora (group 9291), Anton Romanovich Stankevich (group 9294).

The competition was held within the framework of events to hold the Year of National Unity in 2021 and was held in 3 stages:
Round 1 - Creative (team);
Round 2 - Theoretical (team and individual);
Round 3 - Practical (team and individual).
According to the results of the competition, the team of the BNTU Branch "Minsk State Architectural and Construction College" won 9 1st degree diplomas and took first place.

The contestants demonstrated their knowledge in the disciplines "Civil and industrial buildings", "Building materials and products". The head of the construction department Yulia Vyacheslavovna Kozyreva, the chairman of the cycle commission "Building structures" Svetlana Gennadievna Sermyazhko, teacher of special disciplines Tatyana Viktorovna Eliseenkova were preparing the contestants for the theoretical and practical stages of the competition.
The creative stage consisted of the team's business card using multimedia visualization, which was helped to prepare by the teacher of additional education Zhanna Ivanovna Zheltok. The presentation of the team was developed by the teacher of special disciplines Lazutina Svetlana Anatolyevna. An interesting cultural program and excursion was also organized for the participants of the competition of professional skills "AkademStroy-2021" for 3 days, in which the organizers of the competition showed guests their material and technical base, educational buildings, auditoriums, laboratories, experimental farms, exhibition pavilions, sports base, palace of culture. Participants of the competition were present in the large hall of the Palace of Culture at the solemn summing up of the results of the academic competition "Student of the Year-2021".
