June 22, 2021 Day of Remembrance and Mourning in the Republic of Belarus

June 22, 2021 Day of Remembrance and Mourning in the Republic of Belarus. On this day 80 years ago, the bloodiest and most terrible war in the history of our country began, which was the main part of the Second World War of 1939-1945. In this war Belarus has lost every third inhabitant - the memory of them will live forever. And on this day, commemorative events are held throughout the country.
Students of the branch of BNTU "Minsk State Architectural and Civil Engineering College" took part in a meeting - a requiem within the framework of the action "Memory is alive in generations" at the memorial sign in honor of the soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War.
All those present honored the memory of the fallen soldiers during the Great Patriotic War, who gave their lives for the peace and prosperity of our homeland, with a minute of silence and laid wreaths and flowers at the monument. The memory of the terrible war years lives in each of us. We grieve for everyone who was killed and maimed by the war. We are proud of those who saved our lives and millions around the world. We bow before the heroes' feat.
