Knowledge Day

On Knowledge Day, Deputy Minister of Architecture and Construction Alexander Shvayunov visited the Minsk State College of Architecture and Construction.

Alexander Shvayunov congratulated the students and faculty on the start of the academic year and wished them an engaging and productive learning experience, as well as the acquisition of new knowledge and professional skills.

"Today, you are taking a conscious step toward your future," the Deputy Minister emphasized.

Incidentally, this year, nearly 1,500 full-time and part-time students will attend the college. They will study in seven specializations. The most popular are "Construction of Buildings and Structures" and "Architectural Design."

At the ceremonial assembly on September 1, dedicated to Knowledge Day, Grigory Stepanovich Zholnerkevich, Deputy Director of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, was among the honored guests.

Grigory Stepanovich congratulated the students and teachers on the start of the school year and donated a unique publication to the library collection – "Discovering a New World… Ivan Fedorov and Francysk Skaryna." This is part of the large-scale publishing project "Library of the Union State," which tells the story of national educators and significant historical events, and contributes to the preservation and popularization of Belarus's historical and cultural heritage for future generations.
