On October 23, 2020, the results of the 1st All-Russian competition "ArchVector-2020" were summed up in Moscow. The motto of the competition is "Architecture of the cities of the future", which implies the presentation of works that are variations on the theme of future urban planning and architecture.
The conceptual idea of the competition is to draw attention to the views on the development of architecture of the youngest specialists and users of urban space - students of architectural schools, lyceums and colleges.
The branch of BNTU "Minsk State Architectural and Construction College" took part in the competition for the first time. The 4th year student of the group 7191 of the specialty "Architecture" Vienna German was awarded the Diploma "Laureate of the II degree" in the nomination "Master's View" for the project "Low-rise residential building", carried out under the guidance of teachers Karpovich E.G. and Kalinina L.A.
- “A low-rise residential building is represented by a 2-storey volume with access to an exploited roof. The main facade is accentuated by a cubic volume of glass. The image of the building continues the traditions and author's style of Richard Meier, which is well emphasized by the white color of the facades and laconic architectural forms, a large amount of glazing and a clear architecture form.
